FLOS PENDELLEUCHTE SKYGARDEN
Die einzigartige Pendelleuchte Skygarden wurde 2008 mit dem Designpreis Edida ausgezeichnet. Die Leuchte verbreitet eine fast heilige Atmosphäre, da die halbkugelförmige Form an eine Kuppel erinnert und die Gipsdekoration auf der Innenseite der Leuchte in einer Kirche ausgestellt werden könnte.
Mit ihrem zweiteiligen Design verbindet die Pendelleuchte eine schlichte Oberfläche mit einem reich verzierten Innenraum.
Der Entwurf wurde durch einen komplexen und zeitaufwendigen Herstellungsprozess ermöglicht.
Marcel Wanders fand die Inspiration für diese Pendelleuchte in seinem ehemaligen Haus. Die weiße Decke war mit floralen Ornamenten verziert und er nannte diese Decke seinen „Skygarden“. Es war sein Garten, der kein Wasser, keine Sonne und keine Pflege benötigte.
Als er umzog, hatte er den Wunsch, diese Decke mitzunehmen und entwarf diese fabelhafte Lampe, ein Design, das er heute mit uns teilt. Skygarden ist ein halbkugelförmiger Schirm, der in Gips gegossen und innen weiß gestrichen ist, die Lampe gibt ein diffuses Licht ab.
