FLOS PENDELLEUCHTE DIABOLO
1998, im stolzen Alter von 80 Jahren, entwarf die Design-Legende Achille Castiglioni eine Pendelleuchte, die 2020 von Flos neu aufgelegt wurde.
Diabolo besteht aus zwei konischen Teilen. Der untere Teil hat eine archetypische konische Form und ist gleichzeitig ein Lampenschirm, der das Licht der Lampe direkt nach unten verteilt. Der obere Teil ist ein langer, schlanker Kegel, beherbergt die Kabelaufwicklung zur Höhenregulierung und ist gleichzeitig ein Baldachin. Die Lampe ist übrigens nach einem so genannten Diabolo benannt, einem Spielzeuggerät, bei dem die konischen Spitzen aufeinander treffen.
Der Spulmechanismus im Baldachin ermöglicht eine unkomplizierte Verlängerung der Lampenhöhe von 95 cm auf maximal 240 cm. Der Abstand zwischen den beiden Kegeln kann so beliebig verlängert oder verkürzt werden.
Die Pendelleuchte Diabolo ist aus lackiertem Aluminium gefertigt, drei attraktive Oberflächenfarben stehen zur Auswahl. Die Innenseite des Diffusors ist immer weiß glänzend. Diabolo ist mit einer E27-Lampe bestückt, deren Licht direkt nach unten auf die darunter liegenden Flächen verteilt wird. Es eignet sich daher ideal über Ess- oder Arbeitstischen, und der markante konische Baldachin ist auf jeden Fall ein stilvoller Blickfang.
